Welcome Back to the Habboon Triwizard Tournament Blog!
First, we'd like to say thanks to brad for participating in the first Triwizard task! Staff member 'huh' will be taking over for brad for the remainder of the tournament.
Another new competitor is user 'nar' from the Hufflepuff house! Welcome!
Lastly, user 'Kieren' filled in for 'car103', user 'darcey' filled in for 'kuntessa', and user 'desiree' filled in for p.

Here is a quick recap of what Task 2 was all about
Task 2 will be hosted in a Harry Potter mixed events room. Mixed events will be hosted for spectators will play and competitors will have to rely on spectators who are in the same house as they are to win in order to get a clue. This clue's answer will be a username. When spectators search this username they will find the room in which their second task is in! Competitors must complete this task in order to receive a badge and teleport back into the events room we are in. Competitors will be scored based on who comes back first, second, third, etc. If 30 minutes passed and a competitor had not received a clue, they were given the clue.
The clue that was given to the competitors was: A little bit of luck..
This morning we started off on a chaotic note! Many competitors were not present and we had to find substitutes. Thank you kieren, darcey, and desiree for stepping up!

RECEIVING THE CLUE
The first mixed event was falling furni! With the winner being a representative of Ravenclaw, which gave user hus and staff member tonta the advantage as they got the clue before anyone else did!
The second mixed event was spelling bee, which didn't turn out so well. Nonetheless, 30 minutes had passed by and ALL competitors were now given the clue for the username of the Task 2 room owner!
THE TASK
Many competitors got it right away while others could not grasp their head around what the clue meant. The clue 'Just a little luck...." refers to Felix Felicis. Felix Felicis, also called "Liquid Luck", is a magical potion that makes the drinker lucky for a period of time, during which everything they attempt will be successful. It turns an ordinary day into an extraordinary one. Therefore, the username was indeed FelixFelicis !
Once competitors entered the room, they were faced with an interesting challenge!
In this room, competitors must walk to the frozen harps without being sent back by the mermaids! Once they reached the harps, they must say 'Accio' in order to retrieve them. Once they had retrieved the harps, competitors must walk back, while avoiding the mermaids, and say 'Done' when they are finished. Spectators remained in the events room waiting for the competitors to return!

Competitors were scored depending on who finished their task and came back to the event room first!
